A father and son pairing started this week in The Woman In Black, one of the most exciting, gripping and successful theatre events ever performed, now in its 26th year in the West End in a production revisited by original director Robin Herford.

Over 26 years on, the late Stephen Mallatratt’s cherished stage adaptation of Susan Hill’s novel remains a Theatreland treasure.

Stephen Mallatratt adapted Susan Hill’s horror novel for the Christmas season at Scarborough’s Stephen Joseph Theatre in 1987, under the wing of the great Alan Ayckbourn. Its downright brilliance saw its transfer to the West End in a little over a year after it premiered.

Stuart Fox is currently starring as Arthur Kipps in the West End production of The Woman in Black at the Fortune Theatre.

The Olivier Awards with Mastercard 2017 are set to be the biggest yet, as they make their debut at the incredible Royal Albert Hall on Sunday 9 April.

The nominees were announced today at 12pm and the full list can be found below.

Opening in the West End in July 2017 Sienna Miller and Jack O'Connell will star in Benedict Andrews' (Young Vic) production of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.

The Tennessee Williams masterpiece will be at the Apollo Theatre for a strictly limited 12-week run beginning previews 13 July, ahead of a 24 July press night. The run is set to end 7 October.

Multi-award winning actress, writer and comedian Miranda Hart will make her West End debut bringing life to the role of Miss Hannigan in Nikolai Foster's production of Annie.

The musical, based on the Little Orphan Annie comic strips, has become a beloved classic spawning multiple award-winning Broadway and West End runs as well as critically acclaimed films.
